Hurricane Ike left his signature at our home on Sunday morning. Just after waking up we heard a big crash. I thought it hit the house, but it just ripped our power box from the house. The tree took our power line, phone line, and siding with it
. We learned the power company will not fix the box so an electrician had to come in. We also learned if you know the guy from the phone company he will come to your house plus offer a bushel of pears. Since someone in our extended family has our chain saw:) we got someone we knew to cut our tree and he dropped a log on his foot. We also learned our insurance guy was nice! But the bills haven't roled in yet. The kids had a great time with the tree until we made them clean up!
